A Supportive Platform for Pursuing Self-Directed Learning
Secondary learners are actively involved in the development and implementation of their learning opportunities. In collaboration with facilitators, learners build objective structures that drive instructional development and observational reflection. Diverse learning formats range from content-specific instruction to internships and apprenticeships, service learning, and supportive mentorships. Secondary learners have options for designing an educational experience built around their social, emotional, physiological, and intellectual needs.
“How could youth better learn to live than by at once trying the experiment of living?”
– Henry David Thoreau
